You choose when it listens, what it remembers, what gets corrected, and what gets deleted. The goal is a Mirror that becomes more useful to you—not more powerful over you.

Catch Me begins because you choose to start it. The recording state is visible. When you stop, the listening stops. You get the benefit of being heard without having to wonder whether WORD & WILL is quietly listening to the rest of your life.
A RECORDING IS NOT YOUR IDENTITY
By default, raw audio does not need to become a permanent archive.
The value is not a permanent library of recordings. Your speech can be transcribed so The Mirror can work with the words, while raw audio is deleted by default unless you explicitly choose to keep it. What lasts should be the meaning you chose to keep—not unnecessary surveillance.
YOU CAN DISAGREE WITH MEMORY
Your Mirror is inspectable, not untouchable.
A pattern noticed by The Mirror is not automatically a truth about you. You can disagree, correct it, remove it, clear a topic, export your data, or delete the account. Your Mirror should become more accurate because you can challenge it—not because a system gets to become certain about you.
